A premises licence application has been advertised for 443 Streatham High Road, Norbury, SW16 3PH, giving nearby residents and businesses a limited window to check the details and decide whether to make a representation to Croydon Council.
The public notice, published on the Public Notice Portal and listed on Croydon Council’s current licensing applications page, names the applicant as Peure’s Ltd.
What is being applied for
The notice says the proposed licensable activities are:

How representations work
Croydon Council’s licensing applications page says representations on a new premises licence can be made by an interested party, including local residents or businesses who may be affected by the activities of the premises.
The council says representations must relate to at least one of the four licensing objectives:
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- public safety
- the prevention of public nuisance
- the protection of children from harm
The council also states that an applicant has the right to know the name and address of anyone making representations, so residents should read the council’s guidance before submitting anything.
Where to see the application
The notice says application details can be viewed by appointment at Access Croydon Reception, Bernard Weatherill House, between 9am and 3.45pm, Monday to Friday except bank holidays, or online through Croydon Council.
Representations can be sent to Croydon Council’s Licensing Team at Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA, or by email to [email protected], according to the notice.
