The Care Quality Commission, England’s independent health and social care regulator, rated the London Borough of Croydon as Good overall for how it meets its duties under the Care Act 2014. The assessment was published in October 2025, with the CQC report page later updated in April 2026.

Croydon Council says the rating recognises its Adult Social Care and Health services’ work to provide person-centred care and support for residents. The council’s own page says it will work with residents, carers and partners to keep improving services.
