Published Wednesday 3 June 2026. Norbury passengers using a late-night Southern service this week should check before travelling, as National Rail has listed overnight engineering work affecting the 00:01 London Bridge to Selhurst train.

The National Rail notice says engineering work is taking place overnight from the end of service on Monday, finishing on Friday morning, closing some lines.

What changes for Norbury

According to National Rail, at the end of service on Monday to Thursday evenings, the 00:01 London Bridge to Selhurst service, shown as running on Tuesday to Friday mornings, is diverted to Norwood Junction after calling at Tulse Hill.

Passengers are advised to change at Tulse Hill for a replacement bus calling at Streatham, Streatham Common, Norbury, Thornton Heath and Selhurst.

National Rail says journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.

Dates listed

The engineering work notice is listed as running from Monday 1 June to Friday 5 June 2026. For Norbury passengers, the practical point is to check any late-night or early-morning journey before setting off, particularly if relying on the 00:01 service or connections from it.

How to check before travelling

Use the official National Rail pages for the latest position, as engineering-work information and live running can change.

National Rail advises passengers using rail replacement services to allow extra time and check station information for pick-up and set-down locations.
