Saturday 15 August 2026 — Norbury High School for Girls is among the local schools highlighted by Croydon Council after A-level, T-level and Level 3 results were released this week.
The council’s Results Day update says 93% of Norbury High students met or exceeded their target grades. It also says more than 10% of students have secured places at Russell Group universities, and that students from disadvantaged backgrounds achieved 17% of grades at A* to A.
According to the council, the school has recorded its strongest outcomes since before the pandemic and achieved an A-level Performance System Grade 3, placing student progress within the top 25% nationally.
The council’s published update named two Norbury High students among those celebrating next steps: Yasmin, who is due to study Architecture at University College London, and Khulat, who achieved an A* and two As and is due to study Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London.
Across the borough, Croydon Council said early indications show students maintained last year’s strong performance. Its update also highlighted results at The BRIT School in Selhurst, where students are progressing to universities, colleges and careers in creative and academic fields.

The council is advising students to check whether their university, college, training provider or employer has confirmed their place. If results are different from those expected, students should contact the organisation directly to discuss whether a place is still available or whether there are alternative options.
